I cut out little butterflies and appliqued them to the side of the pants...adorable. Some of my best work. I have a ton of patterns, but most of the time they aren't quite what I am looking for. I guess you could say I am tired of seeing the frilly little dress with the pinafore. I am working on creating my own patterns. I find that it is very liberating, plus it just makes me feel a part of Project Runway. Just kidding.
I decided with this particular outfit I wanted lace. Kind of like those boutique outfits for little girls that are so popular. I usually make shoes for my outfits, but this time I didn't...looking for something a little more plain. But I will make more shoes and post them on my site separately.
